Logistic Manager Job in Dubai

Job Description

Established Tobacco Manufacturing and Trading Company operating from Jafza-Dubai is looking for a Confident Logistic Manager to lead the team.

Responsibilities

• Handle operations related to logistics, inventory, transport, Integration of information & customer requirements.


• To manage the flow of goods, information and other resources between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of the management (targets) and consumers frequently


• Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with corporate Logistics strategy in order to support the achievement of overall business objectives.


• Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local authorities.


• Well experienced in International Trade, Import Operations and Dubai Customs Laws, Dubai Chamber, Federal Tax Filing, Excise Tax and Vat.


• Knowledge of E-Mirsal system (Dubai Trade portal).


• Plan and track the shipment according to customer requirements


• Perform FTA Declarations in Portal and updating Report


• Provide comprehensive logistical support daily for both inbound and outbound shipments, including data entry for report purposes, customs clearance monitoring and hard copies filing


• Ensure carriers, forwarders, warehouses and other logistics services providers comply with UAE regulations (Free Zone rules, Customs, FTA and others).


• Maintain Import/Export Documentations (DA/IN/PL), Shipping Instructions, BL control, DO collection, BOE monitoring


• Shipment update tracker (per country / shipped / expo-import documents / BOE)


• Monitor system generated reports and internal goods transfers.


• Continually reviews freight costs and transportation rates


• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes


• Maintain detailed and accurate logistics data for daily, weekly, and quarterly reports including usage metrics, customer issues and resolutions, work logs, and schedule documentation

Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of E-Mirsal system (Dubai Trade portal) and at least 5 years of experience working inside Jafza-Dubai


• High level of computer literacy, to include MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.


• Excellent communication skills and effective time management


• Knowledge of UAE Customs regulations, Federal, Excise Vat especially on free zones


• At least 10 years of experience in Logistics our of which 5 years working inside Jafza

• Preferably Female candidates working with Manufacturing companies inside Jafza-Dubai


• Professional attitude, Adaptable / Flexible approach to work
